Glossary: The Five Precepts

The Five Precepts are Practice of Morality also known as ethical conduct. It implies Aacting in such a way that is harmless for oneself and others. The Five Precepts are to refrain from:

  • Killing
  • Stealing
  • Sexual misconduct
  • False, harsh and idle speech
  • Intoxicants that cloud the mind
